I do love these velvet leggings and they worked really well for a cocktail event with a dressy top. I'm usually a small so originally ordered the S/M from another company and they fit like an XS. Should never be considered close to a M!! I then ordered the M/L from here and while they fit and I made them work, they were still a tiny bit small and when I sat, the back came down because they didn't sit high enough on my waist. These are by no means a M/L. So if you're normally a large...or even a solid medium, these won't fit. I think they should be labeled as girls' sizes! This is on the brand MeMoi who can't figure out American sizes, not the company selling them. I'm guessing it's a Chinese company with ridiculously small sizes. If you're a small person, these are great!I ordered a L/XL after reading the reviews .. im 5 9’ and 156 and 21 weeks pregnant....normally 145 pre pregnancy ... many complain about the low cut but its perfect for an under the belly fit! And as I alway ware long shirts these are perfect... and fits very similar to the M/L in their other sizes ... But may be a tad shorter... and may have a tad less stretch... but still plenty for my size... they hit above my ankles, but I dont mind And at 5 9’ im used to it... if you ware boots with them you cant tell at all ...They have a very silky liner and the crushed velvet is stunning... but no pockets for n the back which is a bummer... the burnt orange and light pink are very pretty colors and I may pick up a few more colorsI have several pairs of these velvet leggings by this brand. I love how soft and pretty they are with my long tops and tunics. They wash well in cold water, gentle cycle, and hang to dry. The only caution is that they run VERY small; I went by their size chart and it was not accurate. I had to order a full size larger than I ordinarily would; also the rise is somewhat short, which is fine if you're petite or short-waisted, but long torso gals might not be as comfortable with these.This is a very pretty pair of velvet leggings which appear to be well made. However, they run quite small and I could hardly get them on. So next time I order, I will be sizing up as I cannot wear these. Just a heads up everyone.I love these but they definately run small. I still went ahead and bought 2 more pair the size up. I love these, and everyone complements me.I'm small to medium in most activewear (Gap, Athleta, etc) so I took the product advice and ordered M/L for these leggings...and they're still WAY too small. Willing to give them another chance: ordering them in another color, in Large/XL.These are super cute but run way small!! I normally wear a 4 or 6 petite and I ordered the M/L per the other reviews on here... they barely fit. Waistband gives me a bit of a muffin top. I'm going to sew a wider waistband onto them so they are more comfortable.The pants are very comfortable and also look very chic. I'm 5'5" tall, 150#, and ordered size X-L which fit me perfectly. I like my pants longer and these come a bit above my ankles.
