They seem to run small for a large. They would be great if they weren't so small.They fit good and kids say “they are comfortable”I purchased these for my daughter to wear during her fall softball tournaments and she absolutely loved them!My High School son needed a pair to wear under his marching band suit. Size was perfect and it kept him warm.Son wore these under his gear for football when the weather changed. He loved them and told me he was warm.I bought for my 3 year old son for his bmx balance bike they are fleece lined which I did not read but I roll up to below his knee to make it more comfy I did get size small but it works for what we needit was a great fit. i needed it for my son's Halloween costume and it fit perfectlyMy son (13 years old) is about 5'2 and weighs about 90 lbs. (give or take), the XL fit perfect. He loves them. It was freezing last night at practice and he wore them w/shorts over them and he said he was perfectly warm. Just ordered the long sleeve shirt as well for the next cold game/practice. Great price and they work perfect. Definitely recommend.
